Day 22 Chuncheon: Cheongpyeongsa Temple (4.5 hours later).

I think i spent about 9 hours travelling today...

I am disappointed because couldn't spend much time strolling around the temple grounds as i had to catch the 6pm ferry.

The beauty of Cheongpyeongsa Temple is unexplainable. I stood before the main entrance and took in picturesque scenery of the vibrantly-coloured temple juxtaposed against the green hills in the background while the fingers of the wind gently caressed my face. It was mesmerising.

As i climbed up flights of stairs to explore the temple, the sound of the wind chimes and of tree branches swaying awakened my soul. Temples in mountains are like hidden treasures awaiting discovery. They may have similar architectures and features, but every temple has its own distinct flavour.

On the way back, i ran down most of the slopes.
